Parafest 2015 : 12-14th June PG, PPG, MTB possibly UK’s Biggest Event
PARAFEST 2015 – An event not to be missed
This summer a brand new flying show and social event for the paragliding and paramotoring community is hitting the UK calendar.
Situated in a picturesque country-central location and in the landing fields of the popular paragliding site Llangollen, North Wales will be Parafest 2015.
The camp and showground are at the base of Llangollen hill and there are plenty of other free-flying sites in the surrounding area that are within easy driving distance. We also have a flying field for paramotors and plenty of unrestricted airspace.
With paramotor and paragliding trader’s and schools exhibiting, a market area, kids zone, chainsaw carving, other sideshow attractions, caterers, all- weekend camping and a bar with live music in the marquee on Friday and Saturday nights Parafest 2015 will be a weekend to remember whatever the weather.

Parabatix skyracers gets the Devin Supertramp treatment. Devin has made a name for himself travelling around the world showcasing many different sports and talents bringing the top skills of a few individuals to be seen by the world via youtube. This time it was the turn of the Parabatix Skyracers. A flying competition dreamt up by Pascal from Paramania Powergliders, the manufacturer of the GTR featured in the video with many other wings and paramotors. Deano was flying his 20m2 Paramania GTR and his Parajet Zenith Polini Thor 200
A tough competition involving some of the best pilots in the world, the British Paramotor Championships has been an annual event since 1997. It takes great skill to win a title like this when competing with pilots who have mastered traditional competitions for a big part of their lives.
Deano’s skill & determination created the lethal unbeatable combination of pilot, wing & paramotor which took him to victory.
While Paramania took a first with Deano on the GTR, Parajet got a 1st and 2nd place with the new Zeniths, courtesy of Phill Jennings.

Parajet exibit at Gadget Show Live with rumors of new Zenith on display
Parajet, the UK based paramotor manufacturer, has announced that it will be exhibiting at this year’s Gadget Show Live, the biggest consumer electronics event in the UK.
Gadget Show Live is the UK’s number one consumer technology event. Based on the popular Channel 5 TV show, and taking place at Birmingham’s NEC from 11th – 15th April, the five-day event allows visitors to see, try and buy the latest consumer gadgets.
The Parajet stand (A125) will include the Volution 2 paramotor range. Alongside the Volution2 will be Parajet’s rotary-powered Cyclone range.
“With visitor numbers expecting to reach in excess of last year’s 105,000, it is an ideal platform for us to showcase our range of paramotors,” comments Parajet MD Jim Edmondson. “We are excited that we’re exhibiting at this year’s Gadget Show Live, and we are looking forward to introducing our fantastic sport to visitors and answering their questions.”
