Simon Westmore uses Paramotor and Multicopter to aid in National Geographic Earths Giant Hole Discovery – video

Aerial Video team http://www.aerial-footage.co.uk (Simon Westmore) helped survey Earths Giant Holes expedition by using first a tandem Parajet Volution Paramotor setup with a Synthesis Cabrio tandem glider piloted by Peter Baldwin (at 3m15s) and then later using one his newer toys the Octocopter equipped with camera and fpv setup (at 32m15s).

Paragliding Sim from Paragliding Earth uses Google Earth Data – Free & Online

I have played with this a few times and it appears that not a lot of people know about it. A Google Earth based Free online paragliding simulator where you can pick a spot anywhere on our little blue planet choose your glider, wind speed, direction, thermal size. You get a gps map and a vario with some simple controls.

It can be really fun to experiment with a site your are going to or already know, try it in a wind direction when you would not normally go there.
