Launched in 2019 Everest Gliders specialises in light weight class of paramotor wings, released on launch are 4 wings.

Windplay which is a school style ground handling wing in small sizes.
Oxygen, their beginner wing for those first moment of flying.
Cross, as the name suggests the easy going stable cross country wing for all pilots.
Thunderbolt, which is the more advanced wing, fast & agile.

All are light weight gliders which generally offer excellent easy launching and more feedback in flight.

Polini Thor 80 LC (liquid Cooled) Paramotor Engine

Thor 80 is Polini’s new mini 2 stroke paramotor engine is compact in size, liquid-cooled.

The Thor 80 weighs 12.5kg. It is liquid cooled, not unique in the paramotor world but this one has a forced air cooled radiator. See the diagram below, engine mount layout is per other thor engines 130, 190, 200. This one has a plastic shield ducting air from an internal fan behind the starter up through the radiator, allowing for the radiator to be kept tight and tidy behind the pilot.

Measuring 41cm wide x 54cm high & 30cm deep is it compact, especially given it has a radiator.

The power plant measures 86cc 50×44 for 17 hp at 10,450 rpm, compression ratio 14.01

The engine comes with Polini own CP d.21 carburetor or it can be ordered with the more familiar Walbro WG8 carburetor. A dry-centrifugal clutch, with 3.58 gear reduction with helical teeth in oil bath. As this engine has a clutch and gear reduction it is also flash starter equipped.

Thrust test video suggest 55kg with 130cm prop. The liquid cooling will aid in economy and we expect the little engine to be fairly frugal.

Air Conception produce Titanium Exhaust for 130cc engine further reducing weight

Air Conception the well known French Paramotor manufacturer has produced a Titanium Exhaust for their Ultimate 130cc engine, making this little power plant even lighter. The engine that was already one of the lightest power to weight units available is now only 10.5kg when fitted with the titanium exhaust, with specs of 25hp & claimed thrusts up to 68kg. Not only lighter the titanium exhaust is reported to be stronger and quieter.

Adding the titanium exhaust brings the complete weight of the Ultimate 130 titanium paramotor down to a mere 19.5kg. We can say it is a nice looking exhaust and a welcome departure from the common black painted exhausts we are used to seeing. Can be seen in the UK at Custom-Air.
